COVID-19 UPDATES

Dear visitor,

To make the festival experience as safe and pleasant as possible, you need to be aware of and follow the measure we have taken against the spread of Covid-19. We will be sending this information along with your tickets and safe management measures will be put in place at every event.

By purchasing a ticket you automatically declare that you are aware of these measures and that you will comply with them.

We would like to point out that current measures prescribe that a group/party may not be larger than 5 people.

FREQUENTLY ASKED
QUESTIONS (F.A.Q)

Will the programme be cancelled if it rains?

Programmes will not be cancelled in the event of inclement weather as wet weather plans are put in place for all of our events. Do read the instructions for the individual event to find out if you will need to bring an umbrella/poncho.

Can I still attend the programme if I am feeling just a little bit unwell
(sore throat, cough, runny nose etc.)?

If you are feeling unwell, please do not attend the event.

Is the event pandemic-safe?

The safety of our participants, facilitators and collaborators is our utmost priority. To ensure the safety of every individual, Safe Management Measures (SMMs) are put in place for every single event. At the beginning of each event, temperatures will be checked and participants will also perform a health declaration.

I am unable to attend the event. Can I get a refund?

Unfortunately, we are unable to provide refunds for all our programmes.

I am unable to attend the event. Can my friend/family member take over my ticket?

Unfortunately, friends/family members are not allowed to take over a participant’s ticket. This is because when tickets are purchased, the health declaration and information used for contact tracing purposes is tied to the purchaser of the ticket.

I would like to bring my baby/toddler with me on the event. Do they need a ticket?

Yes, they will! As part of our Safe Management Measures, the health declaration and information for contact tracing purposes is tied solely to the purchaser of the ticket. For your safety, each individual who attends the event will need to have a ticket.

Can I use my SingapoRediscovers vouchers to purchase tickets?

Unfortunately, SingaporeRediscovers vouchers cannot be used to purchase tickets for My Community Festival events. However, tickets are priced at an affordable price of $10-$50.

How is the festival adapting to the ever-changing COVID-19 situation? What safety measures are put in place?

This year, in addition to physical tours, My Community Festival will also introduce virtual programmes that document a day in the lives of the everyday heroes. All COVID-19 safety measures will also be adhered to. These include:

  • Participants are required to sign an online declaration about their travel plans and complete the Safe Entry.
  • Facilitators will assist with compulsory temperature taking and health declaration before the start of every event.
  • All staff and facilitators will have to go through a daily swab test to ensure safety of participants
  • Participants at selected programmes with high frequency will be going through compulsory pre-event testing (PET).
  • All tours and programmes will be registered with and approved by MTI/STB.

I have more questions. How can I contact the My Community Festival team?
