Meet Sassy Oven’s Mas!

Hello everyone, I am Mas and I am a part-time home baker! I started making traditional Malay kuehs after my mum complained that her kuehs did not work out. I was really surprised as my mum was a fantastic cook! So, I asked my relatives for help, attended classes and learnt more about kueh-making.

Today, I make kuehs for myself as it can be difficult to find nice, traditional Malay kueh. Even now, I am not fully satisfied with my recipe. I am still trying to achieve that perfect sweetness and texture but I look forward to share with you my version of kueh kasui to see what you think!

More about Sassy’s Oven

Sassy’s Oven is Mas’ home baking business where she sells a variety of baked goods during the weekend. The business currently sells cakes, tarts and cookies but Mas is looking to add kuehs into the product line as she continues to perfect her recipe.
