This is a vegetarian and non-Halal dish. The kueh contains gluten and other allergens. Participants are reminded to declare their food allergies, if any, in the registration form.

Participants must abide by the house rules set out by the host (eg. out-of-bound areas, use of toilet). Facilitators will brief participants before the start of the programme.

Please arrive 20 minutes before our scheduled meeting time for registration and temperature taking.

Please do not attend the event if you are feeling unwell.

Look out for our facilitators who will be wearing yellow or blue festival t-shirts.

Meet Edwin!

Hello everyone, I am Edwin, a foodie with a sweet tooth. For me, ondeh ondeh is a simple but satisfying dessert. With just 4-5 ingredients and a pair of illustrious hands, you can start churning out this lovable local dessert in no time! I promise lots of fun as you fashion these cute little sweet potato-glutinous rice balls and of course, eat them and experience that iconic bursting effect!

With the basics of ondeh ondeh covered in this programme, I hope participants will be confident to carry on this aspect of our local heritage by adding their own twists – in flavours and colours – to this local delight! So let’s ONDEH!
