Introduce yourself

I was born in Da Nang, Vietnam and I came to Singapore in 2010.  I am a multi-tasker who never stops working – I am currently a tour guide but also an active volunteer at my neighbourhood’s Residents’ Committees. My passion for food runs deep and I especially love cooking with fresh vegetables and herbs. In the morning, I would go to the market in search of the freshest produce. In front of my flat, you can see the herbs and vegetables I plant and use in my cooking!

To me, Home is…

the warmest place on earth where I can see my loved ones being happy every day.

What’s the story behind the dish you are presenting?

The dishes I am presenting will reflect the diverse culture of Vietnam. I will be cooking some of the iconic food from my hometown in Da Nang such as spring rolls as well as Pho/Mi Kuang. They will be different from the food in Ho Chi Minh and Hanoi which is more commonly found in Vietnamese restaurants in Singapore.
