Pham Thi Duyen (you can call her Cherry!) will be presenting dishes from her hometown! Learn how to make Vietnamese Spring Roll as Cherry shares more about how she navigates the challenges of living in Singapore as a single Vietnamese mum of two beautiful children.

Food is non-halal. The dinner is not suitable for vegetarians. Food may contain nuts, eggs, seafood and gluten.
Introduce yourself
I was born in Hanoi, Vietnam and I came to Singapore 8 years ago. I am working as a beautician in a chained beauty parlour. As a single mother with two children, I work tirelessly to provide for my lovely children. I love to share about my life and my hometown.

What’s the story behind the dish you are presenting?
The dishes I am presenting will reflect the culture of Vietnam. I will be teaching participants how to make Vietnamese spring roll, which is a staple in Vietnam.
About Kitchen Movements
Kitchen Movements, a series of events curated by The Party Elves, provides a platform for home chefs to shine and share their dishes. They focus on self taught passionate home cooks who cook with locally sourced, sustainable ingredients. Kitchen Movements hopes to cultivate a community that comes together over a shared love of home cooked food and the belief in a giving community.
Attire
- Participants should be dressed respectfully in smart casual (i.e. collared shirt, long pants and covered shoes). Sleeveless attire, shorts/miniskirts or sandals are strictly not allowed.
- Participants will be denied entry if they dress inappropriately.
What to bring
- Participants should bring along an umbrella and a bottle of water.
- Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler.
