About the Programme
What you’ll do:
The Singapore Association of Writers (SAW) or 新加坡作家协会 was officially founded in 1970 and is the oldest and largest registered Chinese literary association in Singapore. The association actively promotes creative writing and research in literary theory, serving as a networking platform to nurture and connect new talents. Come and meet the people behind Singapore’s vibrant Chinese literature scene and hear their fiery passion for Chinese literature!
Founded in 1940, Ping Sheh is one of Singapore’s oldest Peking opera troupes. Today, the troupe continues to boast a healthy membership of 100. Join us to marvel at the theatric prowess of Ping Sheh as the troupe demonstrates the elegant art form at My Community Festival!
