For the freshest deals on your fruits and vegetables, look no further than Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre! Join tour guide Pamela Loh, who will be taking you on a tour of the facility to snag deals and meet the unsung heroes working through the night to categorise, peel, store and package our fruits and vegetables! Be touched by their stories of change and continuity as stall owners share how they keep up and adapt in this increasingly competitive industry!

I am a My Community volunteer, an avid traveller and a licensed tourist guide in Singapore. I like to put on the traveller’s lens to explore the nooks and crannies of Singapore, hear the stories of the people and appreciate what makes Singapore a truly unique place unlike other parts of the world. Staying curious is my mantra.

What is the difference in this place between day and night?
Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre is a place that never sleeps. The kind of activities that happen in the day and night at Pasir Panjang Wholesale Centre are vastly different. Some areas of the centre may be more bustling in the day while others may be busier at night. The place is alive day and night to bring fresh vegetables, fruits and dried goods onto our plates and into our stomachs!

Vaccination Requirements
Participants must be fully vaccinated.
Attire
Participants are to wear covered shoes that have soles with good grip due to the slippery floors at the Wholesale Centre.
What to bring
- Participants should bring along their NRIC, which is mandatory for entry into the premises.
- Participants are encouraged to bring a recyclable bag if they would like to purchase any goods.
- Participants should also bring along an umbrella and a bottle of water.
- Please also ensure that the TraceTogether application is installed on your phones.
- Participants are also encouraged to bring their own earphones (with a standard 3.5mm audio jack) as radio guides will be used for the tour.
- Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler.
