Hello everyone! I am Juliana, founder of the floristry The Green Room. I only started floristry around the age of 40 after I left my job in the corporate sector to explore an alternative career that I could really enjoy. I chose floristry because it was something that I enjoyed and found a sense of calm doing.

A place that reflects you. It is a personalised space representing the aesthetics and style of an individual.

What does this craft mean to you?

Floral arrangement, to me, is about peacefulness, calmness and mindfulness. When I work, I get into a zone where the flowers almost speak to me. My instinct takes over and my hands wander to create whimsical arrangements. Even though I have formal training in western floristry and the Japanese school of ikebana, I prefer working freestyle, abandoning these set patterns to prioritize my artistic vision.
