Hello, I’m Winnie from Gold & Behold. I started Gold & Behold as a creative outlet to heal from depression. I advocate for mental wellness through my Modern Kintsugi works and workshops.

To me, Home is…

where my family and cute nieces are! It’s also a place where the caifan auntie calls me 小妹 (little sister) too!

What does this craft mean to you?

The Modern Kintsugi craft symbolises healing to me. We curate and buy broken pieces from local hardware stores, warehouses and factories to support them and promote sustainability. We also donate part of our proceeds to the Metropolitan YMCA – this year will be our second year doing so! We try to maintain this poetic cycle to our Modern Kintsugi pieces – they are sourced from the community and eventually ‘return’ to the community.
