What you’ll do:
Living hours away from one’s family and friends is no easy feat, especially with the pandemic’s restriction on international travel! Come and join Dhivya, Dongxiao and Jiayi, international students living in the MDIS Hostel, to understand the numerous ups and downs of studying abroad in Singapore – with sneak peeks into the hostel and the many places where these foreign students’ hang out!
Introduce yourself
Hello everyone! We are Dongxiao (you can call me Winston), Dhivya and Jia Yi! We are all international students at different stages of our higher education. We have been living in Singapore for 2 years, 1.5 years and 6 months respectively. We are excited to take you on a tour of our accommodation and to meet our friends this coming August!
Attire
What to bring
- Participants should also bring along an umbrella and a bottle of water.
- Participants are also encouraged to bring their own earphones (with a standard 3.5mm audio jack) as radio guides will be used for the tour.
- Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler.
