About the Programme
A picture speaks a thousand words. Lining the walls of Smith Street are Yip Yew Chong’s art works, each painting depicting a now-gone Chinatown from the 1970s and 1980s. Nostalgic and warming, these representations capture many of Yip’s and other Singaporean’s memories of a past age.
