Experience peace and calm at the Sri Lankaramaya Temple as Venerable Gunaratana takes participants on a tour of the temple premise. After learning more about the Theravada Buddhists’ prayers and practices from Ven. Gunaratana’s sharing, we are sure that participants will be feeling both enlightened and recharged!
Constructed in 1952, the Sri Lankaramaya Buddhist Temple is one of the oldest Sri Lankan Theravada Buddhist temples in Singapore. The Temple is most well-known for its large reclining Buddha statue and as a congregation space for Sri Lankans in Singapore. It is currently managed by the Singapore Sinhala Buddhist Association and frequently holds Dhamma events for devotees.
Parking is unavailable at the event premises. The nearest carpark is at St. George’s HDB Car Park (21 St George’s Rd, Singapore 321021). (Approx. 5 min walk)
