Hop onto a shuttle bus and join us on Jurong Island, where we will be touring the Pacific Light Power Station alongside Mr Kwong Kok Chan, one of PacificLight’s most experienced staff! Take an exclusive behind-the-scenes tour of the power station and get an insight on how a power plant operates and generates electricity for Singapore!
The PacificLight Power Station, located on Jurong Island, is fuelled Liquefied Natural Gas (LNG) and focuses largely on energy efficiency in its processes, enabling it to compete effectively in Singapore’s liberalised local electricity market. The facility is home to a tight-knit family of staff that work hard to ensure the power plant operates 24 hours a day, 365 days a year, providing stable, uninterrupted and efficient energy to over 1,000,000 Singapore households. Through the efforts of both their power plant and retail arm, PacificLight Energy, PacificLight prides themselves on being energy efficient, cost competitive, and unparalleled in their customer service in adherence to high standards of safety and sustainability
Participants must be fully vaccinated.
Participants are encouraged to wear covered shoes that have soles with good grip.
