What you’ll do:
Take a short vacation away from the mainland and experience the pristine beaches and clear waters of Pulau Tekukor, a lesser-known offshore island south of the mainland. Tread carefully into its intertidal zone and witness the marvels of nature as Richard introduces you to the various species of marine life that inhabit this island!

Hi everyone, I am Richard Kuah, a nature enthusiast-turned-licensed tour guide! Even though guiding is my full-time job, I love surveying our islands during my free time to catalogue our rich marine biodiversity and to experience the unique characteristics of each island!

Pulau Tekukor is one of the few Southern Islands where natural rock formations can be seen. The island is really long and narrow – one side of it is a beautiful beach, while the other houses a rocky cliff. Very few Singaporeans would have heard of this island, let alone visit it, so be sure to join us on this rare opportunity!

Vaccination Requirements
Participants must be fully vaccinated.
Attire
Participants are encouraged to wear a long-sleeved shirt, long pants and covered shoes for hiking/trekking.
What to bring
- Participants are required to bring their physical NRIC or passport for immigration.
- Participants are encouraged to bring an extra change of pants/shoes as they will encounter shin-deep water.
- Participants should bring along an umbrella/poncho, hand sanitiser, insect repellent, and a bottle of water.
- Participants are also encouraged to bring their own earphones (with a standard 3.5mm audio jack) because we will be using radio guides for the tour.
- Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler.
- Individuals with seasickness should carry their medicine along.
