Get ready to meet Benjawan, Chris and Valerie, your gracious hosts, for this exceptional dining experience! Originally from the coastal city of East Thai, Rayong, which is known for its exquisite seafood, Benjawan will be showcasing her grandmother’s cherished recipes that she holds dear to her heart since childhood. Her time in Singapore has sparked her passion for cooking even further with her grandmother’s encouragement. She has infused her own personal touch to create an unforgettable seafood platter that will transport your taste buds to new heights.
Chris, Benjawan’s husband, is a Singaporean who was captivated by her culinary prowess. Intrigued by whether their dishes would resonate with the Singaporean palate, he came up with the brilliant idea of opening their doors to neighbours, inviting them to partake in the delectable flavours Benjawan has masterfully crafted.
Among the delighted neighbours who have experienced Benjawan’s cuisine is Valerie, who has become a regular guest in Benjawan and Chris’s home. Their close bond has extended to Valerie helping care for their children, resulting in their little ones becoming inseparable playmates. The evenings are filled with contagious laughter, cooking experiments, and the delightful exchange of dishes.

What to bring?
- Participants should be dressed respectfully in smart casual (i.e. collared shirt, long pants and covered shoes). Sleeveless attire, shorts/miniskirts or sandals are strictly not allowed. Participants will be denied entry if they dress inappropriately.
- Participants should bring along an umbrella and a bottle of water.
- Please ensure that you bring along any personal medication. Asthmatic individuals are reminded to bring their inhaler.
