Step into the homes of 3 residents at Jalan Besar and engage in honest conversations with them about living in rental flats! Through this tour, we hope participants will be able to gain a greater understanding of the nuanced lived experiences of these residents as they bare all about the good, the bad and the ugly.

Hello everyone, I am Jan! My friends tend to describe me as quirky, fun-loving and curious. I love treading on the offbeat side of life as I navigate between chasing my dream of running a farm homestay and exploring the myriad facets of what it means to be Singaporean.

What is your favourite thing about your home?
For myself, my favourite thing about my home is that I am able to do whatever I want in it. At night, jazz music rules the airwaves and I’m able to take life at a slower pace.
