Hello everyone, I am Ravi and I have been an ardent student, teacher and devotee of Hinduism for over 3 decades. I am actively involved within my religious community having written articles in various Hindu Centre publications. I also once held the role of Vice-President at the Singapore Hindu Centre and was a speaker and facilitator at the Inter-Religious Organisation’s interfaith dialogues.

where you are wanted, you are loved. It is where you share the love. This is home.

How does your religion cultivate a sense of community and home?

Hinduism brings people together with its accommodative outlook. It always feels like home in my Temple when I see Chinese devotees visit it. This is something very uniquely Singaporean to me.

About Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple

The history of Sri Senpaga Vinayagar Temple began with the discovery of a statue of Lord Vinayagar by a pond more than 150 years ago. Since then, the temple has gone through many changes, evolving from a modest shelter into a fully consecrated temple today.
