Are you a pet lover? Come and join MCF2022 to meet the charming cats and dogs temporarily housed within the SPCA! Find out how the friendly SPCA staff provide for these lovable creatures as they wait for their forever homes. This tour will take you around SPCA’s facilities such as the play spaces and pet clinic!

Hello! My name is Wen Yun and I am the Head of Community Engagement at the SPCA. I am heavily involved in SPCA’s education, outreach and fundraising efforts, volunteer engagement and merchandising.
To me, Home is…
somewhere I feel safe and comfortable.
What is one thing special about your home?
SPCA is special as we are much more than a shelter. We do not just run an animal shelter but also provide various animal welfare services to the community. Our staff are also always seeking ways to better the lives of the animals that come into our care.
About SPCA
The Singapore SPCA’s history dates back to the 1800s. After more than 100 years, the Society has not strayed from its mission of promoting kindness and preventing cruelty to animals and birds. The SPCA is a registered charity largely run by volunteers. Its facility in Sungei Tengah houses numerous unwanted, abandoned or abused animals seeking their forever homes.

Attire
- Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably and wear covered shoes for hiking/trekking.
What to bring
- Participants should bring along a poncho, hand sanitiser, insect repellent, and a bottle of water.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own earphones (with a standard 3.5mm audio jack) as radio guides will be used for the tour.
- Asthmatic individuals are encouraged to bring their inhaler.
