Meet Steven Yeo, the owner of a colourful shop in Chinatown Complex, where he shares tales of the vibrant threads that embody Chinatown’s legacy. From his early days assisting his father’s stall on Sago Street to the bustling hub of Chinatown, Steven has witnessed the transformation of the neighbourhood.
Meet Your Host
Steven Yeo, a warm and friendly man, has witnessed the transformation of Chinatown over the years. His shop holds special significance as it was passed down to him by his father, who used to sell clothing and towels along Sago Street. Steven actively participated in the business from a young age, assisting his father and taking precautions to protect the merchandise from smoke and pests. Now, situated in the Chinatown Complex, he enjoys a more comfortable environment without such challenges.
