Lim Gek Meng, the owner of Ming Fa Fishball Noodles, carried on the legacy of a business founded in 1946 by his father, Lim Chye Kang. Initially, a pushcart stall along Clarke Quay, Ming Fa was relocated to Chinatown Complex in 1983. Gek Ming’s extensive experience in Chinatown Complex has allowed him to cultivate lasting friendships with fellow hawkers while gaining valuable knowledge and expertise in the hawker trade. Today, he has passed on the business to his son, ensuring the continuation of Ming Fa’s rich history.
