Sam Ong, the friendly and witty owner of Wang Mei, transitioned from selling food and various items at a mamak stall to focusing solely on selling cigarettes when he moved into Chinatown Complex. Despite the restrictions on selling food, Sam is now an expert in all things cigarettes and is well-versed in the changing cigarette laws in Singapore throughout the years.
