Let Koo Fook Tho take you on an exclusive tour of the bustling Chinatown Complex! You’ll get to meet some of his friendly friends and find out his favourite stalls. Join us as we explore this vibrant location filled with culture, tradition and history while Uncle Toh enlightens us about the community in Kreta Ayer before Chinatown Complex. So come along for a different kind of adventure with Koo Fook Tho during the My Chinatown Festival!
Meet Your Host
Koo Fook Tho, the friendly owner of a fruit juice hawker stall in Chinatown Complex, is also the Vice Chairman of the Chinatown Complex Hawkers’ Association. Originally selling whole fruits along the bustling streets of Chinatown, he later transitioned to specialising in fruit juice. Since his stall relocated to Chinatown Complex in 1983, Fook Tho has forged enduring friendships and strong bonds with his fellow hawkers and shopkeepers.

What to bring?
- Participants are encouraged to dress comfortably!
- Participants should bring along an umbrella and a bottle of water.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own earphones (with a standard 3.5mm audio jack) because we will be using radio guides for the tour!
- Please ensure that you bring along any personal medication. Asthmatic individuals are reminded to bring their inhaler.

- Please arrive 15 minutes before the event for registration.
- The event will proceed rain or shine.
- Parking is available at Chinatown Complex. Alternative parking is available at Chinatown Point and Maxwell Food Centre.
- The venue is not wheelchair accessible.
- Photography is allowed at event premises.
