What You'll Do
Kwang’s love for seafood, inspired by her childhood living at Bang Saen Beach, will take centre stage this dinner. She will be skilfully incorporating the freshest catches from local fishermen, allowing you to savour the flavours of the sea. From her famous mouthwatering crab curry to tang hoon delicacies, Kwang’s seafood creations celebrate the natural essence of the ocean. Adding to the culinary experience, Jasper Leow and Lucas Ding will showcase their expertise in preparing Singaporean cuisine. The duo will be preparing local favourites like fried kuay tiao and prawn noodles. Join Kwang Yanotai, Jasper Leow, and Lucas Ding for an evening filled with mouthwatering flavours and heartfelt stories!
Meet Your Host
Thanannat, also known as “Kwang,” grew up in a family where everyone had a passion for cooking. Her grandmother played a significant role in shaping her culinary skills, teaching her the art of making chilli paste and instilling a love for cooking. With experience as a manager at Privee restaurant in Botanic Gardens, Kwang dreamt of starting her own culinary venture. Together with her mother-in-law, Kwang created a home-based business named “imaim” sharing their culinary expertise. Their joint efforts in cooking and preparing orders have fostered a deep connection, making each dish infused with love and care.
Kwang’s brother-in-law Jasper Leow and his good friend Lucas Ding will also be preparing Singaporean food to complement the meal. Also, staying at Senja Close, the family frequently gathers over meals, where they exchange food and have conversations with one another. Lucas Ding is a professional cook specialising in recreating local Singaporean food. The duo dreams of starting a home business that showcases local food.
Important Details
What to bring?
- Participants should be dressed respectfully in smart casual (i.e. collared shirt, long pants and covered shoes). Sleeveless attire, shorts/miniskirts or sandals are strictly not allowed. Participants will be denied entry if they dress inappropriately.
- Participants should bring along an umbrella and a bottle of water.
- Please ensure that you bring along any personal medication. Asthmatic individuals are reminded to bring their inhaler.
Other important information
- The dishes may contain gluten, dairy, nuts and other allergens. Food is not halal certified and non-vegetarian.
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the event for registration.
- The events will proceed rain or shine.
- Parking is available at Blk 643 Senja Cl, Singapore 670643.
- The venue is wheelchair accessible.
- Photography is allowed at event premises.
