Quek Tiong Swee embarked on a photography journey in his early 30s, capturing the unique scenes of Singapore that were fading away amidst rapid development. Tiong Swee recognized the importance of documenting disappearing images before they become part of history. With a deep love for Singapore’s history, he invested his time and resources to preserve these precious moments, attending classes and dedicating himself to the craft of photography.

A serendipitous chat at the office pantry marked the beginning of a beautiful friendship between software engineers Paolo and Gineswari, whose shared passion for beach tennis and Italian food brought them to present Filetti di pesce alla livornese (Fish fillet in spicy tomato sauce) – A traditional Tuscan dish from Paolo’s seaside hometown in Viareggio.
A leisure walk along the rail corridor brought Shuli and husband-and-wife Ann and Michael together by chance. Pop by Bukit Timah and join the trio for an evening of sharing over a piping hot bowl of Devil’s Curry and homemade bread.
