Discover the enchanting world of antique bronzewares with Ho Yoke Kee. With a colourful past as a karang guni turned antique seller, Yoke Kee’s expertise spans over 30 years. From humble beginnings in a shop on King George Avenue to his stall in Chinatown Complex, he has amassed a remarkable collection. Join him as he regales fascinating stories of acquiring art pieces from renowned artists and shares the valuable lessons learned along the way.
Meet Your Host
Ho Yoke Kee, a passionate antique enthusiast, opened his stall in Chinatown Complex in 2012, but his journey into the world of antiques began much earlier. Initially working as a karang guni, collecting and reselling discarded items, Yoke Kee eventually transitioned to selling antiques from a shop on King George Avenue, a venture that lasted for 30 years. Along the way, he had memorable encounters with artists who sold their artwork to him, and he learned valuable lessons about the potential profit in the antique trade, gradually growing his business by buying and reselling inexpensive items.

- Parking is available at Chinatown Complex. Alternative parking is available at Chinatown Point and Maxwell Food Centre.
