About Sprout Hub
City Sprouts is a social enterprise dedicated to rejuvenating urban spaces and developing educational programmes that bring together socially-minded individuals and businesses to create communities that inform, educate and support action on social and environmental issues. Founded in 2019, City Sprouts @ Henderson is the organisation’s first redevelopment project that transformed part of the former Henderson Secondary School into an urban farming redevelopment. Allocated between a nursing home and childcare centre, the organisation is committed to help bridge multi-generational relationships.

What to bring?
- Participants are encouraged to wear comfortable long-sleeved clothing to protect themselves from the sun and mosquitoes.
- Participants should bring along an umbrella, hand sanitisers, insect repellent, and a bottle of water.
- Participants are encouraged to bring their own earphones (with a standard 3.5mm audio jack) because we will be using radio guides for the tour!
- Please ensure that you bring along any personal medication. Asthmatic individuals are reminded to bring their inhaler.
Other important information
- Please arrive 15 minutes before the tour for registration.
- The tour will proceed rain or shine.
- Parking is available at Sprout Hub.
- The venue is wheelchair accessible.
- Photography is allowed at event premises.
