The Chinese Theatre Circle (CTC) is an award-winning, non-profit professional Chinese opera company in Singapore. Established in 1981, CTC is noted for pioneering efforts in creating awareness of Chinese Opera. With over 2,000 performances in Singapore and 23 countries, including a nationally broadcasted opera, CTC has significantly showcased the art form to a global audience. Recognised for its pioneering efforts, CTC received the Excellence for Singapore Award in 1997 for its contributions to promoting Chinese opera in Asia and beyond.
